Social Education

Social Education

The Universal Basic Education was developed with the goal of providing “free, universal, and compulsory basic education for every child.

According to UNESCO, about 263 million children and youth are out of school, which is equivalent to a quarter of the population of Europe.

The breakdown includes 61 million children of primary school age, 60 million of lower secondary school age, and includes the first-ever estimate of those of upper secondary school age at 142 million.

Research had also shown that of all the regions, sub-Saharan Africa has the highest rates of exclusion in which over a fifth of children between the ages of 6-11 are out of school, followed by a third of youth between the ages of 12-14, and almost 60% of youth between the ages of 15-17 are not in school.

Among the out of school children, UNESCO also stated that there is a higher tendency that girls will never set their foot in the classroom compared with boys despite all the efforts and progress made over the past two decades.

According to the data gathered from the UNESCO Institute for Statistics, 15 million girls of primary-school-age will never get the chance to learn to read or write in primary school compared to about 10 million boys. Over half of these girls – 9 million – live in sub-Saharan Africa. This result indicates the reason why there are more extremely vulnerable girls than boys in our society

Our Social Education Project aims to provide free basic primary education through the social collaboration of individuals with resources ranging from finances, expertise, and time just to mention a few. The goal of the project is to provide basic primary education that would cover the bucket of 61 million out of school children which are families of the most vulnerable within our society.

Our social education aims to provide quality free education, a diversified curriculum with relevant features that will effectively and adequately cover individual and community needs and aspirations.
